When you look at “Person of Interest” even for just a second, it is pretty clear that you are dealing with a pretty darn serious show. These characters witness constant death, violence, and despair, and that is more true now more than ever following the events of the third season.
So what do you do when there is the potential for some comedy? Well, let’s just say you get excited! We like that there is a little bit of comedic potential in the third episode of the season (airing on October 7) entitled “Wingman,” but not enough to make the story into something particularly cheesy. We also like that Fusco is going to have a little bit of time in the spotlight.
If you want to know more, then be sure to take a look at the attached synopsis:
“Finch recruits Fusco to stick close to the latest POI, a professional “wingman,” but learning how to approach women soon becomes the least of his worries. Meanwhile, Reese must find a way to play by the rules at his new day job as the Machine sends Finch and Root on a mysterious errand.”
Does this sound like a fun story to you? We are definitely excited about it, and hopeful that there will continue to be some excitement in the “dating” department, but also when it comes to some of the larger stories of the season.
For some reason, we are equally interested just in seeing how some of the members of Team Machine handle different jobs for a change. They’ve come to have the weight of the world on their shoulders, and this is a very different sort of challenge and responsibility.
