‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4: New behind-the-scenes peek with Scott Porter, Wilson Bethel, more
The wait for “Hart of Dixie” news remains a long one, given the fact that we’re many months away from a possible premiere date. The only silver lining here? The show is deep into production on the fourth season, and that does at least give us an opportunity to share a photo or two along the way.
The latest one below comes from Scott Porter (George Tucker), and it’s hardly one stuffed with spoilers. Instead, it is just a fun, friendly photo of him alongside co-stars Wilson Bethel (Wade), Cress Williams (Lavon) and Tim Matheson (Brick). Basically, it is a group photo of most of Bluebell’s most-memorable men.
What we really take away from these images more than anything else is simply that this does seem to be a very warm and welcoming place for these people to work, and that is not something that you tend to find all the time in this business.
As for the stories you can expect, what we know right now is that George and Lavon are both caught up in a love triangle of sorts again with Lemon (judging from the finale), and Wade may end up being a major part of Zoe Hart’s life again soon. We know that she is actively pursuing him now, and given that we know the show plans to write in Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy, he has to be one of the top candidates to be the father … right? “Zade” fans will certainly hope so!

I loved season one of Hart of Dixie and always felt the chemistry between Zoe and George was off the charts! I also felt their relationship was credible unlike the Zoe/Wade relationship which always seemed like more of an infatuation. Sadly, the show has chosen to go with the Zoe/Wade connection without ever giving Zoe and George a chance; I suspect this is to due to the nonstop Wade lust delivered online via menopausal women and younger women who worship bad boys. I don’t believe it is the opinion of mature, professional or evolved women but then again, we don’t have the time to haunt Facebook just to talk about Wade and promote Zade! Given the direction of the show and the lack of any real romance (sorry but neither Zoe/Wade nor Lemon/George count) I have given up on the show and won’t be watching any longer. Hart of Dixie started out with a bang but I think it will end with a whimper!

I agree, Zoe and George have great chemistry. And Lemon and Wade actually make a great team and believable romance

I’ve never read a misplaced criticism of something!!!!I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this is totally wrong.
Millions of fans around the globe are for Zade, and if you try a little, you’ll find on the internet how many people are for Wade and how many a re for George (It’s about 95 % for Wade,by the way!!!!).What, exactly, do Zoe and George have in common that is going to last
them and stay interesting for one another throughout their lives? That
they each lived in New York? That they each have respectful careers?
That they each like old black and white movies?
The biggest reason why Zoe belong with Wade is because she is the best
version of herself when she is with him. She doesn’t have to pretend or
impress. She can just be. When did Zoe hurt the people around her and
was the most unlikable? When she pursued George and got tunnel-vision.
That happened both in S1 and S2. Zoe and Wade understand each other. There are no awkward silence with
them. So they can just sit in their porch swing in each others arms.
They don’t need to have a conversation about New York or Woody Allen
movies to be happy.Was it
supposed to be Zoe/George and along the way it switched to Zoe/Wade, or
was it always Zoe/Wade?I have read it somewhere that Leila Gerstein, television producer and screenwriter
of Hart of Dixie said, that it was her’s first idea, and it was
suppose to be about ZG, but the chemistry between Wilson and Rachel was
too good, and audience also seems to liked it ( LIKE A LOT), so they
turned the show in that direction…I think it’s only smart of writers to pay attention to their audience’s
“vibes”, and change the show’s direction accordingly. They didn’t do
that in how i met your mother, and it was a disaster. There are always
going to be different “shippers” (I hate this word) but if they can’t
make everyone happy, the smart move is to make the majority happy.Yeah, I am fairly certain it was supposed to be all about Zoe/George and
Lemon, and have that triangle be the focus. I think that is really
evident in how Zoe meets George first and is immediately drawn to him.
But thankfully they saw that Zoe/Wade had great chemistry too, and
decided to expand on that. I’m glad too, I never really saw too much
romantic chemistry between Zoe/George. When they did have romantic
moments, it felt weird to me, sort of like they were more
brother/sister. Your best decision is not to watch this show any longer- but you were right with something -it has indeed started with BANG(in Wade’s car….ha,ha,ha ) and it will end even better with endgame ZADE!
I will not equivocate; I will not excuse; I will not retreat a single inch; AND I WILL BE HEARD!
