‘Reign’ season 2 spoilers: Struggles ahead for Bash, Kenna

It is under a month now until the second season of “Reign” will premiere on The CW, and it appears already that there will be conflict around almost every turn.

For the first example of that, just take a look at what is going on right now when it comes to relationships. For Mary and Francis, for example, they are going to struggle mostly with the fact that Francis’ child with Lola is now in the world. Mary may not resent the child itself, but the idea of it is an entirely different story.

However, this is not going to be the only couple in the “Reign” universe to struggle at various times. Speaking in a new interview with TVLine, executive producer Laurie McCarthy had the following to say about how a new arrival in the world could end up causing plenty of problems for the Bash and Kenna characters:

“There are going to be new players who come in over the course of the season … One of them might have a history with Bash that’s going to unnerve Kenna.”

Of course, there are also plenty of other problems that these characters are going to have to deal with, as the plague will be very high on the list of concerns. It’s not easy to rule, and Mary will have to learn that the hard way … and just about from every angle.
