‘The Bachelor Canada’ sets premiere date for Tim Warmels, cast

Remember “The Bachelor Canada“? It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the show on the air, but it will be back on City for all of you Canadians very soon, and with a new man in Tim Warmels in the lead.

So what is important to know about Tim? He’s from the tech start-up world, but he feels like a traditional American show casting in that he’s not a celebrity, and he seems to be there for love. We still cannot tell if he’s going to be that likable or not, mostly because he hasn’t been put in a position before where he can let his guard down. It’s much easier to be likable in interviews and pre-show segments, because everyone wants you to be nice and there are not a whole lot of emotions at stake.

You can find out some more about Tim, and the show’s current cast, over at the link here. Does this show have a great success rate right now? Not really, but it’s only been one season. Brad Smith did stay engaged to Bianka Kamber for a long period of time after his season ended, but the two split earlier this year, citing that they wanted different things out of their lives and futures. Smith still works for City as a correspondent, and is very much involved still in the press for the show.

Here’s to hoping that when the show premieres on September 18 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, it continues to have some unique flavor that makes it different than the U.S. version. After all, we don’t need another repeat here.
