ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2 spoiler: First video featuring Michelle Fairley

“Resurrection” really wants you to know one thing about their upcoming second season, and it’s a big one if you are a fan of Michelle Fairley: The “Game of Thrones” star will play a big role in the upcoming season.

Can you really blame ABC for promoting the show in such a way? We really can’t, given that the actress was beloved for playing Catelyn Stark, and this is a great opportunity to ensure that this show gets a little bit more publicity. “Resurrection” did pretty well in the ratings throughout its first season, but at the same time, it didn’t have a whole lot of promotion. This is something that may actually work.

As for Fairley’s future on “Game of Thrones,” it’s looking more and more like she is not going to be back in any form … so rather than being eternally sad about this, why not check her out in something new? The only thing that will be somewhat sad and ironic is if she ends up actually airing against “Game of Thrones” in the spring, which could theoretically happen depending on scheduling.

You can see the new season starting on Sunday, September 28 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. The show is ultimately a nice bridge between the extremely family-friendly “Once Upon a Time,” and also the dark and juicy “Revenge” at ten. It’s a show that teenagers can watch, but is still a little too old for some of the kids.
