‘Falling Skies’ season 4 finale spoilers: Prepare now for a ‘fight to the finish’

Do you love “Falling Skies”? Then we come bearing some pretty good news: Sunday will become a two-hour event. Even though it is the day before Labor Day, and therefore almost like a Saturday in some ways, there are still many reasons to sit down and tune in live.

One of the biggest ones at the moment is rather simple: You really don’t want to be accidentally spoiled on anything that happens after the fact! This is going to be potentially one of the most shocking episodes of the entire series’ run, and there is also a very particular mission here with it: The show needs to tie together the story for this season, while at the same time also ensuring that the stage is set for next year. It is the final season coming up, and there at least needs to be some glimmer of hope in our eyes.

At least you can expect tomorrow night to be action-packed. In just twenty seconds, the video below gives you fighting, explosions, Lexi seemingly making more of her intentions known, and the persistent fear of character death that this show tends to put into us at almost every turn.

Do we expect a cliffhanger? The answer to that is “definitely,” if for no other reason than that this show tries to keep you on your toes. The only sad part about it is that you’re going to be waiting a good nine and half months to see what lies ahead in the end.
