‘Ink Master: Rivals’ season 5 pre-show podcast: Jessa, Bart talk Joshua Hibbard, Jason Clay Dunn

We are back again with the “Ink Master” podcasts for season 5: Rivals and this looks like it’s going to be a pretty dramatic season.

Spike TV has brought in their first “theme” in that the contestants will not only be battling each other but also their real life rivals. The theme is obviously meant to drum up some extra tension on the show, and as we’ve seen the past few seasons, the drama has been a major focus (sometimes more then the actual tattoos).

As always, Bart and Jessa are back to talk about the show, the judges, the contestants, the drama and most importantly the tattoos, but before we get to the big premiere (September 2nd at 10 p.m. on Spike TV for those that don’t know), we are bringing you our pre-show podcast. We are going to be talking about the new contestants, if we think any of the women here this season can finally snag the title from the men and the judges and what we want to see from them this season.

Another hot topic is going to be returning artists Joshua Hibbard and Jason Clay Dunn. We’ve seen Kyle Dunbar and Tatu Baby return to the competition and both had a rough go of things their second go around and it begs a very important question: Can a returning artist win this show?
