‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: More hype on Elizabeth Mitchell’s mystery role

Do you want to know who Elizabeth Mitchell is playing on “Once Upon a Time” season 4? Trust us when we say that you are not alone. We imagine that there are countless people curious about who the “Lost” alum is playing, and how she ties into the rest of the Storybrooke universe.

Unfortunately, you are still going to be waiting for a rather long time to find out some further details. Speaking to TVLine, all show co-creator Adam Horowitz would say is that this is a character who you are probably going to be excited to see:

“She’s awesome, we love her, we’re so happy to have her and we can’t wait for the audience to discover who she is playing.”

Right now, one of the leading theories about the character is that she is going to be someone evil, and understandably so. After all, we don’t have anyone who officially fits into this box just yet among the members of the cast. Elsa can have some snti-hero tendencies from time to time, but she is inherently good. Meanwhile, Anna and Kristoff have no evil bone in their bodies. Unless we’re going back to it being just about Rumpelstiltskin and Regina, Mitchell may have to carry the torch of evil-doer for the time being.

In the end, we’re probably mostly just happy right about the fact that we are not having to go long without seeing Mitchell on TV. Just remember here that it was only a few months ago when “Revolution” was wrapping up.
