‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Frankie, Team America twist decimate Zach’s game
Has there ever been a contestant on a competition show screwed over by production to the same level Zach has on “Big Brother 16“? At least with season 13 and the Veterans vs. the Duos, it wasn’t just one houseguest who was routinely screwed time and time again. The only person we’d say right now who was more consistently hurt by factors out of his control was Jessie Godderz, who basically got evicted twice because of America.
All season long, Team America has basically turned Zach into a scapegoat with all of their constant lies about his game, which is ironic given that he was at one point actually a pretty straight-up player. He would lie, but always come clean about it later. That’s more than we can say for the rest of the Detonators.
Ultimately, he was screwed over first by Team America wanting to keep each other around under the pretense that they were popular, and then because of tasks that they needed to blame on someone. After that, he was eventually blamed for everything in this game, including comments about being derogatory to women that he never actually said. The level of personal attacks is surprising.
Now, he’s being blamed for hiding clothes of the fellow houseguests, with Frankie running around and gleefully proclaiming that he is the responsible party. We know it’s just a game, but Frankie is getting near crazy levels of awful for the way in which he’s going about this, given that we do feel like Zach did very much love him as a person. This has turned into “Zach is the saboteur” talk, Caleb basically telling him that he would be backdoored tomorrow, and other craziness that he was not even responsible for in the first place. Heck, even being Amanda Zuckerman’s cousin and his random Veto speeches were all thrown in here to make it look like he’s the Saboteur. Basically, they are using all of the Team America tasks to bury him.
Here’s what we don’t understand. The Saboteur was a TERRIBLE twist. Why doesn’t anyone wonder why the show would do it again if it didn’t work the first time? At least Christine should be wondering.
