‘Arrow’ season 3: Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes unite for Ice Bucket Challenge

We really cannot get enough of these Ice Bucket Challenge videos right now. It’s a great way to raise awareness for ALS, and they are also mostly funny and creative. The latest example of this comes courtesy of “Arrow” stars Colton Haynes and Emily Bett Rickards, who found themselves on the receiving end of plenty of ice water this weekend.

Both Colton and Emily have been challenged to this by a variety of people over the past few days, but John Barrowman was one of the most notable ones when it comes to calling out the man behind Roy Harper. He also had a great role in this video. There was obviously a part of this that was staged since the two likely knew the first bucket of water was coming. As for the second? We’re not quite sure that they expect that, which somehow makes this even more entertaining.

Just in case this video is not enough for you to make you smile / inspired, take a look at another one below featuring Barrowman himself. What was so great about this one was 1) the Deathstroke shirt, 2) the fact that Barrowman’s husband was wearing a bright red Speedo during the whole thing, and 3) that the man also seemed to be out for blood when it comes to making sure that he nailed John with the water.

For those wondering, Haynes challenged most of his former “Teen Wolf” co-stars, while Barrowman specifically went after Misha Collins from “Supernatural” and also former “Doctor Who” star David Tennant.
