‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Denis O’Hare heads to set
While it looks like you will be seeing plenty of Denis O’Hare on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” it also seems at the same time like you may not see him in the earliest part of the season.
The actor posted a photo on his Twitter account on Friday from what was reportedly his first day on the set. Given that filming has been going on for around a month now, though, this means that he’s likely not a part of the first couple of episodes unless they are shooting extremely out of order.
For us, we are mostly just pleased that O’Hare is a part of the show at all given how great that he is. Also, it’s pretty easy to guarantee that he’ll have more lines this time around in a single episode than he did all of this past season as Spaulding. The entire story is being filmed in New Orleans but will be set in Jupiter, Florida in the 1950s, at the time in which some of the old freak shows from the past were dying down. Suffice it to say that we’re very excited to see what comes next, especially since the show has a much darker tone reportedly this time. Not only was “Coven” a little silly, but it also compromised itself repeatedly by having way too much going on that did not connect to anything else. There was no need for it to be as chaotic as it was.
