‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: ‘The Following’ alum signs up for new role
After being somewhat-terrifying as Lily on “The Following” season, we are about to see Connie Nielsen work her way into a world with a different sort of killer … the metaphorical kind.
According to a report from TVLine, Nielsen has signed up for a role on “The Good Wife” season 6 in a major recurring role of Ramona. she is a very intelligent, well-connected woman whose ties to Cook County could be a valuable resource for at least one character on the show. This is a pretty base description for the character, but given how story-heavy this series happens to be, we cannot be too surprised that the show is being shy when it comes to handing out details.
One thing that Nielsen can celebrate already is being on the mantel of fantastic “Good Wife” guest stars over the years, and we don’t personally feel like there is a show out there with a better array of people who have stopped by. The list here includes Michael J. Fox, Carrie Preston, Nathan Lane, Stockard Channing, Dylan Baker, T.R. Knight, and so many others. Basically, if you want to win an Emmy for appearing on a network show, this is where you want to appear.
The new season will officially start on Sunday, September 28, and will of course air at a million different times the rest of the fall thanks to NFL football. Those who know the show and its history already are accustomed to dealing with that.
