‘Switched at Birth’ season 3 finale spoilers: Travis’ plans with graduation

Monday marks the season finale of “Switched at Birth,” and also the opportunity to see if any of these characters start to really let go of some of what has been troubling them as of late. When it comes to Travis in particular, this includes him trying to figure out whether or not graduation is even a place he wants his mother to appear.

In the sneak peek video below, you can get a sense of what we are talking about here, as Mary Beth talks to him and Emmett all about it. He doesn’t have any real interest in inviting his mom, saying that he has all of his friends, and that is really what matters to him the most. We’ll just have to wait and see whether or not she ends up making her presence felt in this episode, but we have a hard time imagining this as the last time the subject comes up in the episode.

This show has a lot of different story threads that they need to address by the time the finale’s final minutes air on TV. They need to set the stage for what will happen with the characters in the future, tell the story about whether or not Daphne’s past will come back to haunt her, and also figure out which couples are going to continue to be just that. We’ve got a lot to touch on in a short amount of time, and we imagine not everything will be resolved completely.
