‘Girl Meets World’ episode 7 preview: Who knew Maya was an art star?
We may only be seven episodes into “Girl Meets World,” but have we uncovered already that Maya may actually be a professional artist someday? If nothing else, we’ve at least learned that she is a million times better at this than we were back when we were a child.
In the sneak peek video below for Friday’s “Girl Meets Maya’s Mother,” you can see the art teach ooh and ah all over the work of hard that she draws of Farkle, who decides for some reason that he wants to be the model for the class wearing something straight out of a 1941 beach musical. Meanwhile, Riley seems to have only two separate things on her mind:
- Lucas, who was thought to be the original model for this.
- Whether or not she can go to France and be a professional artist someday … which the outlook is bleak for, based on the teacher’s response to her work.
Friday’s episode (which airs at a later time in 9:45, just so everyone knows) will also feature the return of another iconic “Boy Meets World” character in Minkus, who just so happens to be the father of Farkle. Yep, that’s right: There is a child out there whose name is Farkle Minkus. Somehow, that makes Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow naming their child Apple somehow all the more acceptable socially. (It’s still not as bad as North West, however.)
Given the title of this episode, you can also expect to see Maya’s mom for the first time as the class prepares to have a career day.
