‘The Newsroom’ season 3: See first look at Olivia Munn’s latest project
While we wait for some more actual updates on “The Newsroom” season 3 to come our way via HBO, we’ll have to settle for just figuring out what some of the current cast members are up to … and that includes Olivia Munn today!
As the actress behind Sloan Sabbath pointed out this week on her Twitter account, the first trailer has been released for her upcoming film “Mortdecai” at this link. This project features Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor, Gwyneth Paltrow, and of course Munn, and if you want to find out some additional details, just take a look for the film’s official logline below:
“Juggling some angry Russians, the British Mi5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (Johnny Depp) must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.”
As we wrote over the weekend, we’re still trying to figure out when the network is going to even unveil the first trailer for the new season. Our guess is that they will do so around the time of the “True Blood” finale for maximum promotion. Hopefully, season 3 means more good news for Munn’s Sloan and Don Keefer, as she planted a kiss on him during the finale when she realized that he was the one who purchased a “signed” copy of her book at an auction.
