‘The Newsroom’ season 3: When could first trailer for Jeff Daniels, cast come out?

The Newsroom -How much longer are we going to have to wait for “The Newsroom” season 3? We know at the moment that this is a commonly-pondered question, and for good reason. This is after all a great show!

What we know right now is that the show tentatively has a “fall 2014” release date for HBO. That means that at some point before the holidays, you’ll see Jeff Daniels and company on your screen again. We’ve already speculated that the show may launch after “Boardwalk Empire” ends its own final-season run on TV, if for no other reason than that there hasn’t been an announcement yet on a “Newsroom” premiere date. If it was coming on next month, we imagine that we would’ve heard something about it before now.

What we do feel is that at some point, possibly even by the “True Blood” series finale or the “Boardwalk Empire” premiere, we’ll at least get a teaser for the final season giving us a little more information … including a possible premiere dates. HBO likes to air promotions for other series right around the hour, prior to a start of a hit program. This ensures maximum exposure for them right away, and they promptly put them on YouTube at around the same time. We just hope that the show will still get full promotion, even if this is the final season of the show, and it is running for only six episodes. It deserves it.

If nothing else, we know that there is some footage of the Aaron Sorkin series available to them, given that the show is already wrapped and now is in post-production.
