‘True Blood’ series finale spoilers: First look at Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin stories
Sunday, August 24 is a date that we may as well start getting drilled into our brain right now. After seven years of crazy entertainment and pushing-the-envelope antics, “True Blood” is set to end its run on HBO.
The series finale actually has a rather happy title in “Thank You,” but who knows if the story is going to end that way at all? There are always chances that characters will die, and also that our jaws will be on the ground by the time the end credits roll. We’re not going to waste a whole lot of time now; instead, why not go ahead and check out the official synopsis below:
“Sookie (Anna Paquin) weighs a future with and without Bill (Stephen Moyer). Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee). Sam (Sam Trammell) makes a choice, while Andy (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance.”
The biggest thing that we can say about this episode right now is just that all of these characters are going to be alive for it. This means that Bill will continue to move onward despite declining the cure; he actually seems content to die for the time being. Could there be anything that changes that?
The one thing that we will say for now is that Sam better have some sort of fitting ending in the next two episodes. After all this character has given us, the show has given him almost nothing for this final run.
What do you think, at least per the synopsis, about the finale? Share your thoughts with a comment.

@Dee – You are just plain NASTY. The comments here are about the True Blood characters, not the actors that play them. Really uncouth of you

God kill Bill for once and for all. No turning human crap, of anyone of this show who deserves redemption, he is the last in line. It is terrible and all telling how the last season is all about HIS humateh .. god gag me with a spoon. So much better actors on this show, and we have this schmuk shoved down our throats and up our bums. Kill the turd already, the true death, the pile of goo we got for a split second at the end of season five, before the idiot Buckner took over, after Hudis was fired.

My dream ending is that Sookie finally realizes that Eric is the one she wants and he sleeps with her then rebuffs her and takes off to Paris with Pam! Pam and Eric should get a spin off of all their flashbacks. How much fun would that be to watch! Seriously the chemistry between Eric and Sookie is better than Bill and Sookie, but I would hate Pam to be left out. Also, Eric should give Ginger a big Hollywood kiss before the season ends.
I think Bill has been everything from a god to a king and its time to be a martyr. His story line is too played out and receiving too much air time in the little time the show has left. I hope Sam and Nicole skip town and start over, Since he sold the bar his character hasn’t had much screen time. Definitely want Jessica and Hoyt together and Jason still on the prowl. Will so miss this show! Won’t buy the dvd if they kill off Eric. What would be the point?
