‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: The story of ‘The Apprentice’
Want to know the latest “Once Upon a Time” episode title right now? Well, it’s in the name of this very article! In a post on Twitter, co-creator / executive producer Adam Horowitz has confirmed that “The Apprentice” is what the fourth episode of the season will be officially called.
For those curious or just plain cynical, we sincerely doubt that this name means that Donald Trump will be making a cameo or firing anyone over the course of the hour. Instead, we’re thinking more that this is just the tale of someone in training. Maybe Elsa tried to learn under Rumpelstiltskin at some point, which is what led to her being a prisoner; or, maybe Anna has be up to some stuff that has long been a secret from us, or that the mysterious character played by Elizabeth Mitchell somehow has a role in all of this.
If anything else, this is yet again one of the more enigmatic titles that the show has delivered so far, and by the time this episode ends, we will not be that far away from being near the midway point of the “Frozen” arc. It’s not a true sequel to the feature film, but it will be largely the show’s own twist on life after the events of the movie for Anna, Elsa, and the rest of the game.
As for all the episode titles we know so far for the season…
- 4×01 – “A Tale of Two Sisters”
- 4×02 – “White Out”
- 4×03 – “Rocky Road”
- 4×04 – “The Apprentice”
For those looking for writer information, Andrew Chambliss penned “Kansas” and “It’s Not Easy Being Green” from last spring in addition to many other episodes. His fellow writer here in Dana Horgan appears to be new to the show.
