‘Doctor Who’ season 8: See Peter Capaldi – Jenna Coleman highlights from South Korea
As many diehard Whovians know already, “Doctor Who” is currently in the midst of an international tour, where Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman are visiting different spots all around the world and meeting fans of one of TV’s most-international series.
The BBC is also being kind enough to document most of this journey in video form for those who haven’t had a real opportunity to see some of the longer videos and articles out there, and you can see the first two below! One of them is from the preliminary stops in the United Kingdom (i.e. Cardiff and Wales), while the other is from South Korea, which is not anywhere close to home for Capaldi and Coleman. These videos do give you a great impression of the relationship that the two actors have developed, and that speaks many volumes for what we can expect to see on the series itself.
So what comes next for the two? Australia is next up on the docket, and after that the duo will go off to Mexico City before eventually finishing things off in Brazil. That means in the end that they will have visited five continents in an incredibly short amount of time, with Africa and (go figure) Antarctica being the only two that they missed. While we complain about not getting a US – Canada stop on the tour, we really feel for the fans in South Africa who are routinely shafted, and we know there are many Whovians there.
What do you think about these videos, and do they make you potentially even more jealous that the series is not paying either the United States or Canada a visit on this tour?
