‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Melissa Gorga, Amber Marchese break down

Is another “Real Housewives of New Jersey” friendship about to crumble? Given how many that we’ve seen fall apart over the years, it never comes as a surprise anymore when we start to see one of these bonds start to come apart at the seams.

On Sunday night’s new episode, the two who are in danger of losing their preexisting relationship are Melissa Gorga and Amber Marchese, and it all seems to stem from what came out of that tense, never-should-have-happened fight at the first responders party. How is something that is a tribute to police and firefighters turn into something that you need to call the actual police for? We’re speaking somewhat metaphorically here, but the truth here is that things escalated quickly here, and mostly over just gossip and snide comments.

In the wake of all of it, Melissa Gorga and Amber Marchese sit down to hash things out in the sneak peek below, and not everything goes according to plan. Melissa tells Amber that she feels like she didn’t necessarily handle every part of this the right way, and she may have instigated some of the fighting. Amber disagrees with that, and then brings up some “heard that through the grapevine” comments that causes her to call Melissa a liar. Basically, things do not look like they are ending well with these two at the time the clip ends.

Will these two work it out? Possibly, since there’s always a need to band together in the event that there are some future conflicts that need to be addressed. It’s at least something we’ll have to keep watch on.
