‘The Flash’ spoilers: Robert Knepper comes over from ‘Arrow’ as Clock King

Want to hear some glorious news related to an “Arrow” guest star coming over to “The Flash”? Then you don’t have to look any further than this very article!

According to a brand-new report coming in from TVLine, Robert Knepper (best known for “Prison Break” still amidst a number of other great things) is going to head over to the spin-off to the CW hit in the same role of Clock King a.k.a. William Tockman that he played on the Stephen Amell show. This is the first time that there has been a villain cross over from one show to the other, and Tockman is a good choice. He’s intellectual, shrewd, and also someone who has a motivation for what he is doing beyond just being a mustache-twirling bad guy.

In speaking to the publication about bringing Tockman on board, show executive producer Andrew Kreisberg claimed that they as producers “wanted to give Barry a real challenge [for the Clock King’s episode] in TWO bad guys! [He will be] fighting both a new enemy and one of our scariest and most successful Arrow villains in The Clock King.”

Could Felicity give some insight into how to defeat them? We assume that she will be coming by at some point, and this would be an opportunity given that Tockman is the closest thing the show has had to this point to a true villain centered all around her character. Regardless, we’re still excited to see what unfolds here.
