‘Halt and Catch Fire’: Producers, stars on finale, season 2 hopes, and more

While we’re not completely optimistic about the odds for “Halt and Catch Fire” to be renewed for another season, we really enjoyed what the show did this year in giving us an interesting story, unique characters, and something we feel could be a spiritual successor to “Mad Men.”

Before you really close the door on the show at least the near future (if not longer), take a look at the full video below courtesy of AMC. This is a great chance to sit back and reflect on everything that happened this season, whether it be the specific characters or the overall story. Everyone from the executive producers to Lee Pace and the cast come on with some of their thoughts on what it was like to be a part of this crazy experience.

The sad thing here would be not having a season 2 to touch on some of the things that are brought up here, whether you are talking about Donna’s new “career” working for free for Mutiny in a garage, or whether or not Gordon really has what he wants. He spent so much time focusing on trying to be like Joe, and now, he’s starting to realize that this really was one of the last people he should have been trying to emulate.

As for Joe, what does he really want at all? He realized during the finale that his dream come true was really not that at all, and now, he’s in the same position of burning a creation to the ground and starting all over.
