‘Person of Interest’ season 4 spoilers: Meet the new police captain!
As of late, “Person of Interest” has not had the best history when it comes to police captains … or really people in the police force altogether. Some of them have had issues with corruption, and then some other officers have just had a problem avoiding death.
So who is the latest face to join the fray now? Think along the lines of someone who has a history with some of the themes and concepts of this show already. According to TVLine, former “Lie to Me” actress Monique Curnen has landed the role of Captain Felicia Moreno on the series. What do we know about her? At the moment, not a whole lot. She’s an incredibly smart woman and skilled at what she does, but the problem is going to be trying to curtail crime at a time when it is massively on the rise. Blame Samaritan for that, and also the overall sense of dystopia that is this show right now.
Usually, a season finale is a time in which you start to be filled with hope for the future of some characters. However, not this show! “Person of Interest” painted a very bleak image of the future during the end of season 3, and now many of the characters are all scattered. They are going to have to find a way to survive now, and go undercover for long enough so they don’t become targets. The trailer for the season (which debuted last month) certainly makes things seem messy.
