‘White Collar’ season 6: Last day for Matt Bomer, Willie Garson filming together

Got those tissues ready? You may need to hand them to Matt Bomer or Willie Garson today, given that this is the last day that the two actors are going to work together on “White Collar.” The show’s in the process of shooting the series finale right now, and that means with every passing day comes more and more “last times” that the cast and crew check off the list.

It was Garson who informed us of today being his last day of working with Bomer with a post on his Twitter account, and the image above. This is an emotional thing that Willie probably at least knows a little about from his time on “Sex and the City,” though this is probably it on an even larger scale given that he was credited in around three times as many episodes for “White Collar.”

What will the endgame for Neal and Mozzie be? While it would be strange to ever see them be completely reformed and we don’t even know if they would be happy with that, we do at least hope that they have a future that is free of constant danger … or being to the government in some way. Given the overall tone of the show we cannot imagine there being a sad ending for any of the main characters, but we also wouldn’t be shocked if the ribbon was not altogether tied up. Sometimes, open-ended finales are fun, even if they do drive some people out there a little berserk.
