‘White Collar’ season 6 spoilers: Former guest star rejoining Matt Bomer, cast

What's next? -With “White Collar” coming to an end after season 6, it only makes a little bit of sense that some familiar faces from the show’s past re-appear in some capacity.

So just who is one of these familiar faces? We’ve got the answer for you below in Ross McCall. The actor, who appeared over several seasons as former Neal Caffrey rival Matthew Keller, will reprise his role in at least one episode this coming season. He first confirmed his presence on set in a Twitter photo of himself alongside Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay.

Since “White Collar,” McCall has been rather busy, most notably with appearing in most of “24: Live Another Day” (which is excellent and worth watching, in the event that you haven’t seen it already).

As for who else from past seasons could appear, we almost do not want to guess in fear of jinxing it. The only person we can really rule out at the moment (rather unfortunately) is Hilarie Burton, at least unless everyone is pulling wool over our eyes. There have not been any indications that we will see Neal’s past great love Sara back on the show, even though we would love her to be a part of the endgame, especially after what happened with Neal’s most-recent romantic disaster.

There’s still not a confirmed “White Collar” return date, but be prepared for something either in late fall / early next year. We’d gravitate more towards starting 2015 off with some new series and ideas to promote. We’re going to be missing Neal and company for quite a long time, though.
