‘America’s Got Talent’ results: Did Emily West, David & Leeman, Flight Crew Jump Rope advance?
Tonight marked the first “America’s Got Talent” results show, and it marked a chance to quickly see whether or not this new “Instant Save” function with Google worked. Also, there was an opportunity in here to find our whether or not the show was continuing to be obsessed with singers more than any other act.
At first, this was proven true when Emily West advanced, whereas the brilliant Valo & Bobby were eliminated. To be fair, Emily was probably the best on the entire night, but we thought the other duo was almost as good in a completely different way. Meanwhile, Miguel Dakota was also put through, as was comedian Dan Naturman. These were the three we felt the most confident about advancing, so no surprises here.
The three asks left in question until the end were magicians David & Leeman, dancers Baila Conmigo, and Flight Crew Jump Rope. We thought that two of these were likely in this position, but David & Leeman were a nice surprise. The magicians advanced! We didn’t see this coming, but we are certainly happy that it did.
The weird thing is that there was supposedly a “Snapple Save” twist that was introduced during the show tonight, but for some reason that didn’t happen. Instead, the judges chose between the final two acts, and they picked … Baila Conmigo! Either choice would’ve been fine, and hopefully the other may get a chance as a wild card down the road.

The comedian should have left. I’ve heard those jokes and they’re really dumb.
