ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2 spoilers: Do we have Bellamy’s new boss on board?
When “Resurrection” season 2 airs on ABC this fall, Agent Bellamy could very well have a new sort of oversight that he did not have on the show previously. Namely, we are talking here in terms of the government. Previously, the folks at Immigration & Customs were more than cool to just let him continue to do almost whatever he felt necessarily within Arcadia, but is that really going to stay that way anymore?
For the time being, we cannot say too much other than who this woman is. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Donna Murphy has been cast in what is still a pretty mysterious role. What we really know is that she is responsible in part for monitoring what Omar Epps’ character is up to … and we have to wonder if she somehow knows a thing or two about what is going on.
We get the feeling in many ways going into season 2 of this show that there are many stories that are changing and evolving, possibly past what was actually the original plan for them. For example, Bellamy is going to be a returned! Who imagined that last year? This casting could make for a bigger role for the government, just as we could also see Jacob’s family tree expand mightily with the new casting of Michelle Fairley as the child’s grandmother.
In the end, we mostly just hope that the show finds a way to give us some answers over the course of this upcoming season, and not to just mask them in more questions. We thought season 1 had some really great moments, but we also thought for the first part of it that the eight episodes airing that year were going to be it.
