‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Good news for Joseph Morgan’s Klaus, Marcel
When “The Originals” season 2 premieres on The CW come Monday, October 6, you better believe that there is going to be quite a bit crammed in. Not only that, but there will be opportunities to find out just how some relationships among the key players in the story are going to evolve.
For one great example of that, just look at Marcel and Klaus. At the time that the pilot episode of the show was taking place, the relationship between Charles Michael Davis and Joseph Morgan’s characters was rather strained; however, that has changed and improved in a variety of ways since that time. As a matter of fact, when season 2 picks up the two will be keen to even work together at times … mostly because there is a mutual understanding that one needs the other. Just take a look at what executive producer Michael Narducci had to say to TV Guide on the subject:
“Marcel and Klaus are in a really good place … Klaus has an agenda. … If Klaus wants to deal with the Guerreras, he’ll need someone who knows how to do that.”
Now of course, one of the real questions that we see ourselves asking after this is strictly how long this alliance-of-sorts is going to last. You have to remember here that it’s hard for Klaus to stay on the same page with anyone for a long period of time, and it is most-likely even worse when it is someone who he has some sort of pre-established history with.
