‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Operation Amber is in effect

Today in the “Big Brother 16” house has been just as wacky and unpredictable as you would have expected going into it, and there has been one very simple reason behind it all: Amber. (Spoilers ahead!)

By putting her up on the block as a replacement nominee, Frankie mostly sealed her fate, but he also opened up a hornet’s nest of conflict and rumor-spreading that finally had him become a target because of information that was passed around (in part via Nicole). He can’t even blame Zach for some of his double-speak this time around.

Caleb has also went through a flurry of emotions. Early in the day, he was gung-ho about backdooring her and seeing her leave the house, feeling like she was taking advantage of him and whatnot. Now, he seems to be much more in the keep Amber camp, feeling like she deserves to at least be in jury … but she is not going to make it there.

Basically, most of the house has adopted the same sort of strategy with her now that they had last week with Brittany, and that is to not really tell her she is gone home until she actually does. That saves them most of the pain of dealing with her, even if they do still all have to deal with Caleb in the end (however hard that may be given his craziness).

The funniest part of today is that while Frankie and Derrick and Christine were running around and trying to do damage control on everything, Zach managed to sleep through almost all the fighting, and made himself less of a target in the process. Amber still wants to get rid of him, but she’s not going to get the chance.
