‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: David Boreanaz on Booth in prison
When “Bones” season 10 premiers on Fox, there will be trouble for many characters … but most of it will revolve Booth. After all, just look at the position the guy is in going into the episode. He’s under arrest for a series of crimes that he is not even guilty of, and he’s also away from his wife, daughter, and the life that he loves.
So to say that he is going to be emotionally vulnerable thanks to all of this would be one of the biggest understatements ever. Speaking to TV Guide, David Boreanaz said the following about just how angry and frustrated he will be behind bars:
“He’s wounded. He’s a man of much anger and he is fueled to find out who did this to his family. I wouldn’t want to get in his way right now.”
You would like to believe that things are going to be easy for Booth and Brennan to be back together after he eventually gets his life (or at least part of it) back, and that’s not going to be the case. Instead, you can expect to see him suffer from a form of post-traumatic stress disorder as he tries to figure out just what it is going to take to get back into the same world that he once loved again.
We like the emotional pull behind this story, but as always with “Bones,” our fear is that it will be resolved much too soon. That is one of the issues with having a series that is so procedural, and really requires you to have so many stories an episode with concise endings to them.
