‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Who else from ‘Frozen’ is being cast?

As it turns out, “Once Upon a Time” is not wasting its time just yet when it comes to casting characters from the “Frozen” franchise. You already know that Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff are going to be inhabiting this world, and you also know that Olaf sadly will not.

So who else is hopping on the roster for the rest of season 4? Sources confirm that the show is in the process of casting the role of Hans, the Prince that seemed at first to be the love of Anna’s life. However, she realized near the end of the movie that (spoiler alert!) this was a man taking advantage of her naivete in order to seize power, and gain a far greater spot in Arendelle than he ever had in the realm from which he came.

You will not see this character turn up until the fourth episode this coming season, so rest assured that he is probably not going to be a huge part of the early going this season. Who knows, though? Maybe he emerges as a larger villain later? Right now the unknown character played by Elizabeth Mitchell (get a few hints here) is to us the most important person that you can technically classify as a “villain” in the traditional sense. Signs point to there being some more conflict in here somewhere, and Hans could certainly have some motivation after things didn’t work out for him in the original “Frozen” story … assuming that he is here for something more than just a flashback.

The new season of “Once Upon a Time” is going to premiere on September 28, so you’re at least not going to be waiting too much longer to find out.
