‘The Bachelorette’ video: A new (and silly) Josh Murray – Andi Dorfman scene

When you remember that “The Bachelorette” is a show that has thousands of hours of footage, it’s only inevitable that a lot of stuff if going to be left on the cutting room floor. This was the case even for the often-overstuffed Overnight Date episode, and we actually have a pretty funny scene with Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray below.

Why wasn’t this scene about them taking in some of the Dominican Republic’s drink culture, which also joking about how this was supposed to make the two of them “feel good,” shown in the actual two hours that they had? We have no clue. Maybe ABC really feels like there is a lot more money for them to be made for the time being just watching people locking lips time and time again. It’s somewhat disturbing if they really think that shirtless guys and bikinis are their only selling point, but we can’t read their mind.

This sort of scene does give us further insight into why Josh is still around, and why it’s very well possible that Andi could pick him in the end. While Nick Viall has a ton of stuff going for him, Josh is just that fun-loving, super-adventurous guy who everyone wants to be around with. He’s a friend that many people want to have, since he will help to encourage you to do and try new things. We get a lot of caring out of Nick when it comes to Andi, but it’s a personality difference.
