‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: CW boss hints at story for Jay Ryan’s Vincent
“Beauty and the Beast” ended up being quite a topic of conversation at The CW’s TCA Summer Press Tour event today for a number of reasons, but starting with one very simple one: This was a show that somehow managed to get renewed even when it looked like it was getting a death sentence with a bump to summer.
But as network boss Mark Pedowitz reiterated Friday, there are many reasons for the show to stick around, especially from a perspective of dollar signs. While the ratings are not huge, the online engagement and fan following are spectacular; plus, the show does very well internationally, which is probably a big selling point since there are other programs on the network that don’t even air in territories as close to the United States as Canada. (We felt for fans of “Star-Crossed” and “The 100” this past season.)
For those wanting some actual scoop, Pedowitz proved that there was something for everyone! He managed to drop a big teaser for all wanting to see Jay Ryan’s Vincent get a little closer to what an actual dream for him was at a certain point in his life:
“[Vincent and Catherine] are out in the public, they’re a couple and they have to find a life together. [Vincent] is a medical doctor on the show, and you know what, he will get his license back.”
Cheers to that! There is nothing emphatic right now about this being the final season of the show coming up, so much of the future will once again be on the fans … and given how hardcore they are, that is probably a good thing.

An excellent direction! ……Especially with Vincent being able to practice medicine again. it has been obvious that he was and still is great at what he was and could be. Cat & Vincent will be able to have some semblance of a coupled future together. She being a police detective & he being a doctor, what a combination!! Lets hope they create better storylines like those that made season 1 so great unlike season 2, which was consistently disappointing except for a few episodes here & there. Brad Kern really made a mess of season 2, i sincerely hope that they bring back the original writers instead of his need to experiment with his so called version of character development. Seriously!…………BK needs to create his own program instead of interrupting other programs!

Oh I hope it’s not the final season too!!! I love this show! I’m hoping for many more. I can’t help but wonder why I never see it advertise on TV though. I see other shows of CW’s advertising, like Flash and Arrow. I ask around and a lot of people have never heard of it but once they’ve watched it they really like it. I just knew it! Vincent would get his license back and become a doctor again. I really want JT and Tess to come back too. I love his comedic one-liners. He adds the humor to the show and I think their relationship is endearing. I wished Evan wasn’t written out either. Maybe the stuff they gave JT could’ve been used on Evan and fix him all up and he’ll return. Just sayin…..LOL

There are so many avenues this show could go in and only 13 episodes next season will not be enough to follow them all. So because of this I am hoping for a longer S3 and maybe even a S4. Would be nice to not have everything crammed into just 13 episodes. Thank you Mr. Pedowitz for giving us such a wonderful series with the best ever cast and crew.

The most thrilling part for me is seeing you say Season 3 is not the final ~ I was worried about that especially with the new shortened 13 episode format. As an international fan of BatB ~ it feels so wonderful to have Mr P acknowledging our devoted global support for BatB over the unjustified US ratings ~ if that is what will keep BatB on air for more seasons he will definitely hear us ROARING for my favorite and the BEST CW show.

Indeed we are over the moon that Vincat will finally be able to live a normally without having to hide or run from Miurfield. Am so happy that Vincent will bw able to practice medicine. I have faith S3 is going to be amazing and cannot wait. I love this show so much! !!!
