‘Supernatural’ season 10: The best lines from Misha Collins’ AMA

Castiel -If there is a man almost made for a Reddit AMA, it is “Supernatural” star Misha Collins. He’s sharp, witty, and also loves the self-deprecating humor as much as the next guy. The only downside is that Misha is not a robot with 300 hours in a day, and therefore could only answer so many questions during his Q&A on Monday.

We’ve enclosed what we believe to be the few “Supernatural”-related answers here for your enjoyment, just in case you haven’t seen the AMA yet, or are simply too lazy (understandable) to want to cycle through everything.

  • On what it was like being directed by Jensen Ackles – “Terrible. Humiliating.”
  • On emotional fan encounters – “I have had many very moving experiences with fans. A large group of fans (and a few non-fans) went with me several times to Haiti to help raise money for and build a school/orphanage (among other things), that was something of a life-changing experience for me. I have also had many interactions with fans telling me that somehow my character on Supernatural, or the show itself, or my snarky online persona, had had a profound impact on them. I’ve received letters and heard stories that have made me tear up.”
  • On possible ice cream flavors for Dean and Castiel – “Dean’s ice cream flavor would be “Pie.” Castiel is an angel. Angeles have feathers, chicken’s have feathers, so Castiel’s flavor would be “Fried Chicken.””
  • While the entire quote would not make sense, Misha made it clear that he originally did not think he would make it past the first three-episode arc that he did on the show.

There was also plenty of great talk in here about his scavenger hunt GISHWHES if you are an active participant in that, and of course his cooking videos with his son.
