‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Is someone already giving up?

Big Brother -We were hoping that the Veto Ceremony in the “Big Brother” house today would lead to drama akin to last week’s Veto Ceremony, but for the time being, that has not turned out at all. Instead, we seem to be on the way to the eviction that was inevitable from almost the point this week started.

After he was put up on the block, we thought that Devin could have taken advantage of an opportunity to rally the non-Bomb Squad people in order to have them team up with him and take out some of the other threads. Unfortunately, he’s not doing that at all. Instead, he is making mostly a half-hearted attempt to stay in the game, sort-of campaigning but at the same time expecting to go home so that he can see his daughter again.

On most seasons, we would say that this is a great opportunity for the houseguests to keep a player around who is mentally checked out, and therefore a pretty easy person to get rid of at any point in the future. The problem with Devin is that it’s like waking a sleeping giant; the moment he gets power, he’ll start going crazy. He’s already broken his trust way too many times in the game that there is zero chance anyone can believe him and work with him in the future. Everyone would rather take their chances competing against Caleb, who is already extremely well-known as a major physical threat in this game, and who also has the power of an alliance around him.

Elsewhere in the house right now, there are still claims that Donny is ex-military (mostly by Caleb), and there is more fallout about the Team America task that has made Zach have to deny again being Amanda’s cousin. Also funny here is that Hayden mentioned to Frankie that Joey said she was America’s player before she left, and this conversation hilariously went nowhere despite this being a valuable piece of information.
