‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 6 preview: What happens to Lena?
What is it about shows on ABC Family suddenly having all of their tragic stuff happen in succession? This week on “Switched at Birth” saw the hospitalization and eventual loss of one of their cast members, and on the next new episode of “The Fosters” entitled “Mother,” there is definitely going to be a reason to fear for Lena’s own health and safety.
A hospitalization during this episode is going to really put the brakes on some of the other stories temporarily … but also not completely. Based on the official synopsis below via ABC Family, we do at least know that there are some surprising things ahead for some of the other characters within this world:
“Tragedy strikes the Fosters and they must look to each other for strength. Stef confronts Mike about Ana, and he comes clean about why he was at the halfway house the night of Ana’s disappearance. Meanwhile, Wyatt seeks relationship advice from a very uncomfortable Brandon, and Mariana is still furious with Jesus for putting her in the middle of his girl problems.”
Could this show survive without one of the adults? We suppose that it’s possible, but at the same time we really don’t want to see that happen. Lena is essential to the show, and we believe personally that she qualifies perfectly in that category of “people we desperately don’t want to lose.” We’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but at the same time we will have a whole lot of updates until that point. Keep coming back the rest of the week for further scoop.
