ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7: One more update as we near filming
While it may be a little ways off before we start to have a plethora of information in regards to “Castle” season 7, we can at least say right now that in a week’s time, we’ll have a much better feeling. After all, filming is about to be underway, and the cast will be back out there, doing their best to create new episodes.
First of all, are you surprised that there has not been a title announced yet for the premiere? So are we, but that to us means that new showrunner David Amann is taking his time to get this perfect. An episode title may seem like a tiny thing (and on paper it is), but these are the sort of thing that set the tone for so many of your episodes. This is why we are able to remember some past great installments like “Always,” “Time Will Tell,” “The Final Frontier,” or “Veritas” so easily. They tie back to their stories perfectly, and we’ve come to appreciate them even more after dealing with “24” again and their gimmicky titles that don’t give you any insight at all.
Oh, and here’s one other sign that filming is about to get started. Per Terri Edda Miller’s Twitter, the first concept meeting for season 7 was this past week. These are always a good sign that production is right around the corner! The crew is already getting started at work, and there are going to be some cool things ahead. Hopefully, we’re going to get an idea in the first two episodes of the season whether or not Rick will be rescued soon.
