‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Sarah Paulson on unique season

One of the great things about Emmy nomination day is strictly that it allows for opportunities to have actors speak on what is coming up for their projects, and that includes the upcoming season of “American Horror Story” … especially since there were so many people nominated in the first place

The cast is already in New Orleans preparing to make this one of the craziest seasons ever, and that includes a woman in Sarah Paulson who has been there since the beginning, and has certainly seen her fair share of crazy. Speaking in a new interview with USA Today, she said this about the general level of excitement that the cast and crew are feeling right now about the story they’ve been handed:

“Having read the first two scripts, it’s going to be everything everyone hopes it to be and more. It’s very new, and unlike anything that the show has been before. That’s very exciting for us. We had hair and makeup tests yesterday. I could feel a crackling kind of excitement.”

Based on what we know right now about Paulson’s role of conjoined twins, we are already starting to think that she could be an Emmy contender again next year. There are not many actors out there who have ever gotten this sort of opportunity for a TV show, and she will hopefully be able to blow it out of the park. Granted, there are also a number of other components that are going to go into making it successful … such as her needing a great script in order to make the most of her performance.
