‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: A possible new member of Team Reddington

Before we do anything else with this “Blacklist” article, we have to ponder the following question for a minute: Do you really want to be a member of Team Reddington? This doesn’t seem like the sort of place you’d want to be a part of. The man kills people, and we’re sure that for every name on his list, there are just as many people out there who have him on a list of “people they want to kill.”

Regardless, the news of the day is that there could be someone who eventually is persuaded to team up with James Spader at some point during the NBC show’s second season. According to a new report from TV Guide, the show is going to feature a “ruthless” female agent with Mossad early in the season, and she has a mission to find Reddington and get whatever it is she wants from him.

Unfortunately for her, she’s not going to be successful with taking him down … which is no surprise, given that he may be the most badass middle-aged bald guy on the planet. However, she may still get something out of it courtesy of a spot at his metaphorical table.

There is still quite a long time to go until Spader, Megan Boone, and the rest of the cast return to NBC on Monday, September 22 with new episodes, so be ready for plenty more scoop / casting news along the way. At this point, we’re sure that you probably welcome it given the length of the present hiatus.
