‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’: Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, more to attend Comic-Con

There are few shows that are more appropriate to attend Comic-Con than “American Horror Story,” and that is what makes us so happy now to write a little about who is going to be turning up in San Diego this year. This may be one of the first real opportunities that you’ve had to get scoop on the show’s fourth season from the cast themselves, and there may even be some sort of teaser shown off for good measure.

First, we start with the basic details. The panel this year will be held in Room 6DE, and will be Saturday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time (or 10:00 p.m. for those on the West Coast). That’s a little later than the standard Comic-Con panel, but doesn’t it feel about right for the cast and crew of this show be talking about it late at night?

Now, we move to the official attendees. In addition to executive producer Tim Minear, you will see Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Michael Chiklis, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Emma Roberts all present. We’re not altogether stunned to see that Jessica Lange is not on the list of attendees, mostly because she has a tendency to show up only to the things that she really wants to. However, where’s Ryan Murphy? Maybe he will be announced later, but he is one of the co-creators of the entire franchise and has been there for some events in the past.

Chiklis is the most notable inclusion to the panel, just as he is also one of the most notable inclusions to the entire show. We know that he is playing a sort of strong-man character, but we’re still waiting to find out details about some of the others. Kathy Bates even said recently that she is still in the dark on some of the finer details for her character.
