‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: A premiere title ‘Frozen’ in place

Frozen -For those wondering just how quickly “Once Upon a Time” would be diving into the world of “Frozen” in season 4, the answer is here: They are not wasting a whole lot of time at all.

According to co-showrunner Adam Horowitz’s Twitter, the title of the upcoming premiere is going to fittingly be “A Tale of Two Sisters.” Given that Rebecca Mader is seemingly done with the show now as the Wicked Witch, it doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to figure out that these sisters are Elsa and Anna. How this episode will be structured is still a larger mystery. Maybe the show is going to pick up in the present, and tell the story of these two young women following the events of the Disney movie. Or, maybe they will craft their own interpretation of the “Frozen” story via flashbacks. Given Disney’s stranglehold right now on the property (and rightfully so, given the box-office earnings), we really cannot see the show changing a whole lot right now.

You likely heard last week that Georgina Haig is playing the part of Elsa, and she will be in the majority of the episodes this fall. Anna should also have a fairly sizable role in the story. It was a smart move for Horowitz and fellow creator Edward Kitsis to scoop up the story when the iron is hot (or in this case ice-cold?), but the flip side that comes with this is high expectations. Everyone is going to expect the “Frozen” characters to be wonderful and great, and just the slightest misstep will lea to criticism.
