‘Arrow’ season 3: Notes on production; plus, play catch-up now!

Arrow -Arrow” fans have had themselves a long wait for the past month-plus, and we know that it’s going to get so much longer. October 8 is the premiere date, and that is more than a third of the year away.

So what in the world can tide you over? The real answer to that is “nothing,” since there is really no substance to having Oliver Queen and the rest of the gang back on your TV screen. But you should at least know, per the Twitter for executive producer Marc Guggenheim, that the first concept meeting for the season 3 premiere was held on Friday.

We’re very interested to see how season 3 turns out, mostly because the show is in a little bit of a different position now thanks to “The Flash” being on the air. We know that each show has their own dedicated team, but will anyone ever feel stretched too thin? We worry that having so many different things to worry about and focus on could make things a little crazy … but we were also worried about season 2 going in, and it turned out to be awesome. Sometimes, you just have to find a way to relax and let some of the writers / producers / actors do what they do best.

For those of you who are really behind on the show for some reason, The CW is at least giving you a chance to catch up on the first five episodes of the season now. Head over to their official website now, and check the episodes out! We hope that an era comes where all episodes all available this way; you make money off advertising, and we really do not think is going to deter from people buying the DVDs much since these people are hardcore fans.
