Daytime Emmys 2014: Where to live stream the awards, hosted by Kathy Griffin
Tonight, the Daytime Emmys are going to be held, with of course the major twist being that they are a television awards show that is ironically not going to be held on TV.
Instead, the show is going to the internet, where a pair of soaps tried to go last year in “One Life to Live” and “All My Children.” Here’s hoping for a better outcome. The ceremony this year will be hosted by Kathy Griffin, and it will start at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. Want to see the entire list of nominees now? Then you can do so just by heading over to the link here.
So where is the best place to stream the entire show? If you head over to the link here now, you can see everything from part of the red-carpet special to the start of the awards themselves that will carry through the rest of the night. If you love daytime TV, there are not a lot of venues out there that you will find more enjoyable tonight.
Of course, we are going to have so much more in the way of updates coming up later, including a list of winners and some analysis of how they did. Also, we’ll have a take potentially on Kathy as a host, at least if she manages to do something shocking or offensive. Given that she will not be so tied to the FCC on the internet, this opens the door for all sorts of possibilities.
What do you want to see on the show this year, and are you happy that Kathy is hosting?
