‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: Vincent and Cat dream of their future

“Beauty and the Beast” likes to play games occasionally with us when it comes to romantic ideals. For example, we want to envision that it may be possible for Cat and Vincent to someday be happy, and someday be a part of a world where they do not have to constantly worry about whether or not they can be together.

There will therefore be a part of Monday’s new episode “Ever After” that focuses on what is somewhat an ideal for the two of them: The thought that they can be together and have some sort of normal life.

In a sneak-peek video that you can see over at TVLine, Kristein Kreuk and Jay Ryan’s characters get an opportunity to dead to what may very well be their version of a dream house … even if it is a fake one. The two have finally made the decision to run rather than try to fight things out in New York City, where they are constantly at risk of being exposed, arrested, or have something even worse happen to them.

There are only two episodes of the season coming up after this one, so whatever happens here on out is certainly going to be twisted and shocking. One thing we are feeling pretty sure of? That despite whatever Cat and Vincent’s best attempts right now to get away, we sincerely doubt that the two parties are going to be spending the final three episodes of the season hiding out.
