‘Longmire’ season 3, episode 4 preview: First look at ‘In the Pines’

Tonight on “Longmire,” Henry finally earned his freedom after a difficult hearing where the entire tribal community came to his defense. So what does he do with it now? That is the issue that lies at the center of “In the Pines.” Even though he now has his freedom, the struggle that comes with that is something that will be worth watching out for in the episodes ahead.

Will he flee? We know that this was a question asked in court, but that bracelet looks to keep that from happening. His struggle will be that he is used to spending most of his time being able to move around the area without too many problems, and now he is confined to as little free space as possible.

Henry does remain vacant from the synopsis for this episode, though; instead, we will focus on another case, and also the return of Branch doing some things that are hardly by the book:

Walt and the team track missing teenage campers on a leadership trip in the wilderness; Branch continues his unauthorized search for his shooter.”

Just when it comes to the matter of expectations, we personally feel like this is going to be one of the strongest past two episodes that we have seen to date. The show is going to need to work hard to keep the story at that high a level, since otherwise you start to run the risk of going into those dreaded midseason doldrums.

What do you want to see on the next “Longmire” episode? As always, we want to hear your thoughts with a comment!
