‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Talking Maisie Williams’ Arya

The “Game of Thrones” finale Sunday night has the potential to go in many different directions, but one of the more intriguing ones (at least to us) has to do with the direction of one of the characters that has been there since the very beginning in Arya Stark.

Just a matter of a few weeks ago, her tale was somewhat easier to telegraph in that she would most likely arrive at the Eyrie with The Hound, be sold to Lysa Arryn, and not too long after that be reunited with her sister Sansa. My, how things have now changed with the death of Lyssa. It is not clear whether or not The Hound will get anything for the child now, and the two have forged such a strange and unusual bond that we almost want to see them continue to be around each other in some form. Maybe The Hound can stick around the Eyrie for a time?

Unfortunately, the photo from HBO above for Sunday’s finale “The Children” does not give away much, save for that Arya has finally stopped laughing after going into a fit of doing so ironically a couple of episodes ago. This was more of a testament to just what her situation is right now as a very young woman who has lost almost everything in her life; at this point, she almost has nothing else that she can do other than laugh at another tragedy that has come in her direction.
