‘The Fosters’ season 2 spoilers: How Callie’s surprise impacts others

Throughout our conversations about “The Fosters” over the past few weeks, much of our conversation has been largely about how Callie is going to handle the fact that her father is not her biological dad. However, something that may be just as worth watching out for is finding out more information concerning how others in her life are going to react to this news.

What about Jude? His feelings are something that will be considered heavily throughout this process, since this may impact him in different ways than were imagined going into the story. Speaking in a chat with TVLine, Maia Mitchell teases that while Callie has quite a bit of stuff going on, his reaction is something that you should watch out for:

“[She] discovers a lot about her past that she wasn’t aware of … [All of this could lead Jude] concerned because they’ve done everything together and it’s this whole part of her life that he will never be able to be a part of, that he is not involved in. That causes him some anxiety that you definitely see come out later on in the season in a way that I can’t tell you yet.”

In the end, adjustments are going to be a name of the game when it comes to this season. With so much change coming for a tight-knit group, everyone has to be prepared for what will be coming up. What’s the best way to do that? Keeping the lines of communication open, and not getting overwhelmed.
