‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Denis O’Hare on what little he knows

American Horror Story -The cast of “American Horror Story” recently held a screening for Emmy voters, but even though the cast has now had a chance to look at the script for next season’s premiere (or at least most of them have), that doesn’t quite mean that all of them are any more willing to share details than they were a month ago.

The latest person to speak out / clam up about the upcoming season is Denis O’Hare, who is coming off of a turn as Spaulding and hoping to be a very different character this time around. Based on the actor’s new comments to “Extra” on what his role could be, it at least seems like he will be given this opportunity:

“We never know a whole lot. Ryan gives us a brief hint … What I do know is that I don’t think I will have a hump, I don’t think I’ll have a limp, I think that I’ll have my tongue, and I’m going to have my face.”

We want to see O’Hare in a part that actually allows him to be somewhat heroic, given that two of his most-iconic roles to us are Spaulding (an asset of Fiona Good’s for many years), and the evil Russell Edgington on multiple seasons of “True Blood.” To date, he is probably the most notorious character out there.

Granted, it is all going to be up to Ryan Murphy to determine what he wants to do with these characters, but the good news is that there is obviously a great deal of confidence that these people have in him to give them great parts.
