2014 Tony Awards: Where to live stream red carpet arrivals, press room

Tony Awards -While tonight may not have a robust amount of new programming coming on, there are still some pretty notable highlights … especially if you are a fan of specials. The Miss USA competition is going to be going on over on NBC, while CBS is going to have the grand broadcast of the Tonys hosted by none other than Hugh Jackman.

First of all, let’s applaud the folks over at this institution for continuing to get the hosting here right. Neil Patrick Harris and the “Wolverine” star have both hosted this numerous times, and each of them have been fantastic. Both love the stage and performing on it, and this year Neil enters as a favorite for his work in “Hedwig and the Angry Itch” rather than someone who is going to be the emcee of it all.

We know that the red carpet shows for all award ceremonies are popular, but the Tonys does not have the same sort of robust options that you get with either the Emmys or the Golden Globes. In other words, you’re going to be getting just a few feeds to watch them, and not on TV. The best play we would go to live-stream the red carpet show as well as the press room is the show’s official website, which is boasting all sorts of great second-screen content.

Even if you have yet to see a single Broadway show, there is an element of glitz and glamour here that always makes this show fun to watch, even with the glut of other awards shows that are out there.
