‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: In which we stare at a computer a really long time

“Arrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim is a tricky, tricky man … just by posting a picture of his laptop on Twitter, he has created so much curiosity that it has put many people’s photo software through the wringer trying to figure out what it says.

So far, what we have made out is possibly a mention of Starling City, but we are so early in the “Arrow” writing process now that this is the sort of thing that gets us exciting. The writers room met for the first time about season 3 on Monday, so there is still a long road ahead in figuring out what each specific story is going to be moving forward.

For us, we do expect to see some sort of transitional premiere in that there are some stories that are going to have to build up again. With Slade Wilson locked away, this is not going to be the sort of premiere that starts off building directly off of the finale. You have Oliver Queen now in Hong Kong, Thea Queen with Malcolm Merlyn, and also the potential for a new villain to rise out of nowhere. Then, there is all of the relationship stuff that is out there on the fansites and on Twitter. The love for Oliver and Felicity still burns strong! Still, it would be a complete shock to our system if the show rushed the two into a relationship now after going at such a slow pace the past two seasons.
